work yesterday was urghhh.. i guess altogether it wasnt too bad, it just had to occur that on my first day of work, 1.2k chinese nationals were boarding the cruise for that day. 1.2k can you believe it.
imagine the mess and chaos they created while queueing up to get their boarding passes, and a single snaking line that was supposed to ensure orderliness became a line of 5 people in a row. throughout the snaking line.
so well. whatadda you expect. insisting on boarding first, and then creating a chaotic scene at the counters, everone has to take turns right. so off they go alternating to the counters, and the ones behind keep complaining of the long wait. oh dear. well too bad. wait you shall have to, since y'all created the queue and mess in the first place. (:
oh yea. forgot to add that my job was called 'line agent' hahaha so apt right. but i rather be behind the counter, checking in the passengers; its more fun that way, or maybe even being a runner. i know how pathetic that sounds, but its really fun when you get down to it! soon, i hope, next time i turn up for work.
work wasnt too bad overall, but really tiring. with all the running all over the place, and standing for extended hours, my legs were really painful at the end of the whole day. went out with my clique after work, and the billiards game didnt help my legs at all!! seriously it made it worse lol.
basic theory practice and evaluation today, at bbdc, and guess who i met there. haha actually, it was quite a lot of people i saw there while waiting for my slot to arrive. douglas, henry and li wei. oh what a small world. least of all i didnt expect to see li wei there. hahaha
the practices were simply too easy, not to mention evaluation too, hehes. i came in 10 mins late for practice, finished with 10 mins to spare. 4 booklets, 265 questions, it wasnt daunting at all ahahaha. got 100% for the evaluation, 70 qns, finished within 10 mins. (:
