i guess i was really unlucky on my first day of work to have encountered all those chinese nationals. yesterday and today was sooo much better! although it was quite tiring to report at 0630 and 0530 for both days, the work kinda gets quite satisfying when you really get down to it.

met most of the 1.2k chinese nationals AGAIN yesterday, as they were returning from their 4/5(?) day cruise. hahaha luckily things were much smoother, and they left the cruise centre relatively quickly! no headaches! and then it was much more peaceful in the afternoon, quite relaxing, at least there wasnt much of a crowd to contend with, as compared to, well, y'know, monday. 2nd time of being a line agent's is getting kind of boring, so yea. pity those who have done line agent since their first day of work. *ahem.

saturday (today, actually), was surprisingly good! in terms of the job scope, and also the overall feel. too bad it ended quite late, around 6 or 8? O.o anw, as they say, its the customers who make your day, or rather, you do beyond the bare minimum to make your customers day, and what a difference it really makes! but in the end, all things come round, so yea.

i guess westerners are more upbeat about life in general, and they're seriously jolly. after 3 hours in the morning of 'meet and greet', your job becomes really relaxing, and your spirits are uplifted. it wasnt actually 'meet and greet', rather to see if the passengers need any kind of assistance, and to offer them the use of the elevator.

it was by chance that i got tipped, after helping some mauritius guy with the luggages. omg he was carrying 4 huge bags of stuff, i really dont know what he filled them with, but it was packed to the brim, and not to mention, pretty heavy too. hahaha go be jealous all you other people. xP

anw, it was a whole day of chit chatting with those who were doing the same job as i was, amidst greeting all the passengers. looking forward to monday's work. wonder what i'll get to do this time............... (:

oh yes! did i mention, there was a beautiful sunrise that could be seen from the gangway leading to the cruise ship? i do have pictures, but really. they dont even convey beauty of it.
